Mounting the module
The location of this Bluetooth module within the vehicle is critical to how it performs both stationary and at speed. As it can hear up to twenty four different tyre pressor sensors and their RF signals, the module must have a clear and direct line of sight to every sensor in use.
When mounting the module within the vehicle, the only material that should be between the module and the air is thin plastic trims, such as those found inside the vehicle and around boot liners and pillar trims or roof linings.
The following materials may interfer with the RF signal from the tyre pressor sensor.
