Rear aluminum bumper with tyre carrier GenRight

  • Mounts to factory rear door hinge points
  • Designed to hold 35" to 42" tyres
  • Fits any bolt pattern or offset wheel (stock wheels can be used by running backwards in the carrier)

Notes:

• This tyre carrier is sold unpainted, it can be left in the original brushed aluminium finish, painted or powder coated
• Requires drilling of four 3/8" holes in the rear driver's side area by the rear light to mount the two locking plates
• Requires factory rear door hinges to be removed to allow new GenRight rear door hinges to be fitted (no drilling required)
• Due to the thinner sheet metal body of the JL, we do not recommend mounting any accessories (Hi-Lift jacks, gas cans etc) on this tyre carrier (72,5 kg max)
• Each tyre carrier is drilled with a fish wire to make it easier for you to pull the 3rd brake light and licence plate wires through the tubes
• This carrier moves the number plate from the side to the rear. It is necessary to have a licence plate light (and 3rd stop light), please use our LED-1650
• You can lock this Tyre Carrier by replacing one or both of the supplied locking pins with a lockable 1/2" hitch pin
• This tyre carrier is designed to carry a up to 72,5 kg tyre & wheel
• Do not over load this carrier with heavy items as this will damage both the Jeep and the carrier
